Mounting and using your Height Chart

Your Arlo & Co Height Chart is made from natural bamboo and high quality canvas. Here you'll find information on how to mount your Height Chart to the wall where you'd like it to hang!

Your Height Chart is designed to be hung approximately 20cm from the floor (to allow for different skirting board heights).

The easiest way to ensure your Height Chart is placed correctly, is to use a measuring tape to measure 180cm or 200cm from the floor (depending on the Height Chart size you have purchased).

Make a small mark on the wall with grey lead, then use this mark to line up with the 180cm or 200cm point on your Height Chart - this will ensure your measurements are recorded accurately.

Alternatively, measure from the floor to the 25cm mark on the Height Chart, and mount this way.

You can use any double-sided adhesive to attach your Height Chart. The best adhesive will be the one that suits your wall (and takes into account the weight of the Height Chart - which is less than 0.5kg. Many of our customers opt to use Command 3M Strips, which allow the Height Chart to be removed and packed away (or easily relocated). You can use adhesives at both the bottom and top panels, or the top only - whatever works best for your space. Be sure to prepare the wall or surface as per the directions on the adhesive.

You can then use your choice of marker, greyled or pen to record height milestones. Fabric markers work really well on the canvas surface. If you use any kind of ink marker or pen, be sure to allow it to fully dry before touching or rubbing it so that it doesn't smudge.

That's it! You're ready to record the milestones over the years to come 🌿
